PJ was born March 16, 2008, in Tampa, FL., to Bianca Cherie Cooper and the late Peter Demetris Hyman, Sr. PJ attended Jefferson High school, where he was an honor student, and planned to pursue a career in engineering. He was a baptized member of Mt. Carmel AME church where he served as an usher and recently became a Christian Master. PJ was a happy, friendly young man who loved his family and friends. He made friends without judgement. He enjoyed dancing, playing football, basketball, and video games, as well as spending time with family and friends.

PJ was preceded by his father, Peter Demetris Hyman, Sr.; great-grandparents, Ernest Rodgers and Verdell Rodgers; grandparent, Aileane Cooper; great-aunt, Evora Cooper; and cousin, Lekenya Cooper.

PJ leaves to mourn him a very loving and devoted mother, Bianca Cherie Cooper; loving devoted grandparents, Deborah Sampson, Patricia and Johnnie White, and Kenneth Cooper; loving and devoted sisters, Charisma Hyman, Anastasia Walker, Victora Rodriguez, and Naelis Walker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
