Philamar Mirbel was born on January 13, 1943, in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, to Marilien and Idora Mirbel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marilien and Idora Mirbel.

He leaves precious memories with his wife, Helene Mirbel; children, Julie Mirbel Desrosier, Jovenel, Hylustral, Thimoty, Milcah, Handy, Stehan, Wantania, and Aly Mirbel, Steve Desrosier, Cheila, and Cheldine Altidor; grandchildren, Bruno, Esther, Malik, and Michael Desrosier, and Lovely Altidor; brother, Cheranfant Mirbel; sisters, Chrissane and Marina Mirbel; a host of nephews and nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
