Dixon
February 23, 1943 – July 14, 2020
Phyllis was born February 23, 1940 in Tampa, Florida. She was a proud member of First Baptist Church of West Tampa, where she sang in the choir. One of her favorite songs was 'The Blood'. Phyllis also sang in a group called, 'The Miralettes' in the late 60's and 70's. She also sang on the morning radio show of WTMP. Phyllis worked for several years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Tampa General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shearon Smiley Madison and son, Michael Smiley. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Johnny Dixon; sister, Ella Johnson; children, Vickie Walker, Kathy Smiley, Annette Harris, Juliette Smiley, Michelle Smiley-Wells and Mike Smiley, Jr.; and a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; other relatives and friends
