She was born on November 17th, 1973, in Tampa, FL. Ms. Prudence Strother was a pillar of strength, compassion, and grace. As a proud mother of four, she dedicated her life to raising her children with unwavering love, courage, and faith. Her resilience and selflessness inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Prudence faced every challenge with determination and a smile, always putting her family first. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and wisdom-a reflection of her generous spirit and kind heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Strother, Sr., and Ernestine Allen Upshaw.
She leaves precious memories with her children Esoterica Arnold, Arriana McMichael, Colisha Bunch, and Amir Strother; grandson, Zion McCall; siblings, Edward Antonio Strother II (Sharon), Israel Strother, Tangela Miller (Ernest, Sr.), and James Strother; sisters, Ernestine L. Arnold and Beverly Ann Merritt; aunts, Jo Ann Vickers (James Earl), Thelma Watkins, and Alice Hill; nieces, Antwonette Critton, Shantell Arnold, Samika Arnold, Ashley Strother, Shannon Strother, Cierra Strother, Erneshia Miller; great-nieces, Shantiera Cotman, Burjea Strother, Damayiah Tookes, and Amari Miller; nephews, Jerome Merritt, Jr., Edward Strother, Jr. (ShaDominque), Samuel Arnold, Jr. and Ernest Miller, Jr.; great-nephews, Michael Williams, Cameo Williams, Damontrae Arnold, Darren Tookes, Talon Rivers, Arjay Merritt, Edward Strother III, Dominick Strother, and Carson Strother; cousins, Tabatha Vickers-Sanders (Jamal), Vidal Vickers, James Earl Vickers, and Jamilla Vickers; along with a host of in-laws, extended family and special friends that she loved and cared about deeply. We will remember her for her fierce determination, her warm heart, and her ability to find light even in the hardest moments. She faced every challenge with grace and inspired everyone around her with her resilience and strength. Her legacy of love, strength, and perseverance will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
