Homegoing celebration for Mr. Ralston Edman, Sr. of Tampa who passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 will be held Saturday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Wallace Z. Bowers of St. Mary MB Church, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Ralston Edman, Sr. was born July 22, 1943 to the late Albrey Edman and Eugenie Bain. Ralston Edman, Sr. enjoyed listening to reggae, dancing and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Albrey Edman and Eugenie Bain. He leaves to cherish his memories with children, Ralston Edman, Jr. (Katana Edman), Gary Walker (Shylonda Walker), Robert Walker and Nicole Walker; 16 grandchildren; aunt, Irma Mayhew; uncles, Aubrey Spencer and Edley Fuller; cousins, Jillian Fuller, Judith Pillick, Denise Pillick, Rita Spencer, Vinette Pillick; close friend, Noel Thompson and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, Friday, January 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
