Ramiro affectionately nicknamed, "Raymond" was born on March 11, 1941, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Juan and Manuela Velasquez Donis.

His favorite activities were fishing, hunting, golfing, and playing trivia games, He loved to joke and play with dominoes, and was a fun person to be with.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maria Donis; brothers, Juan Donis, Jr., and Rafael Donis; one grandson, Marcus Haddix; and wife, Alice Donis.

He leaves precious memories with his children, Raymond E. Donis, Rose Donis Moore (Raymond), Ramiro A. Donis (Latoya), Manuel Donis (Sharon), Jonathan Donis, and Barry Pugh (Carol); brother, Jesus Donis; sister, Paulina Donis; a host grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends and other relatives who will dearly miss him.
