Raymond Joshua "RJ" Heath also formerly known as Uncle Bub 78, of Tampa, FL died on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at his residence. He was born on November 11, 1945, and raised in Lawtey, FL. After graduating from R.J.E. High School in Starke, he enlisted in the US Army and served a tour of duty before being honorably discharged. After being discharged from the Army, he attended Florida A & M University in Tallahassee where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. After receiving his degree, he was employed by Texaco Oil as a Sales and Marketing Representative. He worked for Texaco for quite a while before deciding to relocate to Washington, DC (DC) where

he was employed by the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO) as a bus driver and later as a Subway Supervisor. After many years with METRO, he retired and relocated back to Tampa.

Raymond accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior while living in DC and was baptized at

Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church where he was an active and devoted member until he

relocated back to Tampa.

He is survived by his wife Clemon H. Heath; Daughters Gayla Walker (Charles), April Heath, Keisha Heath(Yancy);Grandchildren Darrell Walker,Marcus Walker,Iman Walker,Galan Walker,Bradon and BrandonWalker, Storm Walker,Vincent Knight,Destyni

Dunbar,Yancy Dunbar,Keiyshan Dunbar, Sisters Mildred Postell, Bette Reeves, Sharon Diane Brown (Johnny), Clara Berry Cummings, Shirley Greene; Brothers Leonard Heath (Violet), Wayne Finn (Barbara), Willie "Wissy" Berry, Alphonso Berry (Hazel),Like a son

Pooh, Willis "Peter" Berry (Loretta) and many other friends and family members. Burial at the Bushnell Military Cemetery.
