Funeral service for Mr. Raymond C. Johnson, Sr. of Tampa who passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 will be held Saturday, June 14th, 1:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3804 Danny Bryan road, Brother George Boole, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Raymond was born September 25, 1946 to the late Freddie Hodge and Lovis Jackson in Brooklet, GA. Raymond loved being with his wife, family and friends. He also loved music, traveling and taking pictures. He had a passion for teaching in the classroom and in the ministry. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and James Hodge and sister, Vanda Robertson. He leaves to cherish his memories with a loving wife, Ella M. Johnson; children, Raymond C. Johnson, Jr. (Ray Ray) and Calvin D. Johnson; grandchildren, Andrea Sanders, Marcus Sanders, Makala Sanders, Ahmir Sanders, Calvin E. Johnson and Chanteal Johnson; brothers, Johnny Robertson and Henry Hodge; sisters, Emma Key, Deborah Robertson and Lillie Lundy; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 13th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friend from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Kingdom Hall on Saturday for the service.
