. Raymond Oscar Metey was born June 1, 1950. He attended the public schools in Hillsborough County and was employed for several years at Faulkner Plastic Company, as a welder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond (Crip) and Vera Meteye; brother, Clemons Meteye; sisters, Irene Meteye, and Louise Meteye Leggett (Joe); niece, Yolanda (Baby) Marrow; nephew, Antonio Meteye; aunts, Irene Favors (Shorty), Mary (Moochie) Rawls, and Dorothy Thomas.

Raymond was a "True Nature Man" at his heart he definitely loved fishing and hunting, keeping up his home and yard. Raymond absolutely loved his family and was there to help when needed.
