Homegoing services for Mr. Raymond Lee Thomas, Sr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012, will be held Saturday, May 26th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Neely pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Raymond was born January 2, 1932 in Barwick, GA and a resident of Tampa for many years; he enjoyed fishing and playing dominoes. He was preceded in death by parents, Leroy and Mary Jackson-Thomas, brothers, Issac Thomas, A.D. Thomas and Ike Thomas; and son Raymond Thomas, Jr. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories, wife, Frankie Richardson- Thomas; children, Scott E. Thomas, Sr. Mary Eady, Corliss Eady and Chandra Richardson; grandchildren, Scott E. Thomas, Jr., Christina Thomas, and Zavior Conners; great grandchildren, Scott E. Thomas III and Raymond C. Thomas; uncle, Mitchell Jackson; special friends, James Eady, John Jackson, LC Lewis and Rose Gordon and a host of other relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 25th, from 5-8 p.m. The friends and family are asked to meet at the Chapel at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday for the service.
