Obituary

Mr. Reginald Bryant, also known as "Reggie" was born July 27, 1948, in Tampa, FL to parents, Lamar Clifford Bryant and Evangeline Smith. He graduated from Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia, PA. He served in the United States Armed Forces, Army Division for several years after high school. He attended Columbia School of Broadcasting in San Diego to pursue his love of music and the entertainment industry. Reggie enjoyed being with family and friends. Affectionally known in East and West Tampa neighborhoods as "Pops", he could often be seen cruising town in his infamous black limo. Reggie will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him, but we are at peace knowing he is resting comfortably with his son, Marty in God's eternal love.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar Clifford Bryant and Evangeline Smith; and son, Reginald "Marty" Bryant. He leaves behind cherished memories of his loving daughters Tia Bryant Bynum (Christopher) and Raquel Bryant Sarah (Roody); grandchildren, lil Marty, Jacquez Henderson, Jakai Henderson, Christian Bynum, Chasity Bynum, Armani McCaslin, Nayla Johnson, and Sarai Sarah; sisters, Yvonne Ballard, Brenda Kerr (Floyd), Patricia Bankston, Angelina Alexander (Robert), and Rita Bryant-Gainer (Ben); special friends, Patricia Taylor and Antoinette McCaslin (deceased) and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
