A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Rene Elizabeth Williams 'Snook' of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 will be held Saturday, November 16th, 2:00 p.m. Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 Lowe Street, Rev. Dr. Glen B. Dames, pastor officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Rene was born April 22, 1964 in Tampa, Florida. She loved being around family. She enjoyed reading the Bible, cleaning, dancing and listening to music. She was very loving and helpful. She was a teacher's aide at Foster Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her father, James Lee Perry; granddaughter, Harmony Williams; brothers, Jimmy Lee Perry and Arthur Green; sister, Sarah Perry; nephew, Marlow Favors and mother-in-law, Josephine Williams. She leaves to cherish her loving memories with her children, Howard Jr. (Drucilla), Dominque (Trecinah) and Devonte Williams; god-daughter, Kierica Causey; spouse, Howard Williams, Sr.; grandchildren, Dominque, Jr., Jamari and Hayden Williams; mother, Mildred Perry; brothers, Lawrence, Cornelious, Michael and Jarvis Green; sister, Carolyn Kirk (Calvin), Katherine Smallwood, Barbara Green, Delores Boykins (Earl) and Thelma Perry; god-sister, Marjorie Stewart; aunts, Eleanor McGuire and Luellen Mosley; uncle, Lonnie Williams; nieces, April, Sheree, Alice, Katina and Tasha Green, Aeronica Green-Beal, Porsha McDuffie; nephews, Shannon, Cornelious, Jr., Cornellious, Arthur, Jr. and Michael Green, Ronald Blunt and Miguel Warren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; friends, Betty Goodwin, Hattie Adams, Jennifer James-McCarr and Titus O'Neil and the entire staff at Foster Elementary School. The visitation will be held at Allen Temple AME Church on Friday, November 15th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5\:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
