Obituary

Reverend Jesse S. Burrage entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and service. A devoted Christian, veteran, and faithful servant of God, Reverend Burrage dedicated his life to serving both his country and his community. His unwavering faith, compassionate spirit, and commitment to helping others touched countless lives.

As a pastor, Reverend Burrage faithfully led a church in Chicago, where he preached the Gospel, encouraged others in their walk with Christ, and served his congregation with humility and love. Throughout his life, he remained dedicated to serving his church and community, always willing to lend a helping hand and share God's love with those around him.

Jesse was a beloved son, a loving husband, a devoted father, a caring brother, and a cherished uncle. He found great joy in his family and was a steady source of strength, wisdom, and encouragement. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he lived each day as an example of Christ's love through his words, actions, and service.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Kimberly Burrage; his daughters, Tori, Alexa, Daphne, and Aaliayh; his sisters, Anna Burrage, Ahna Reese, and Deloris Reese; his brothers, Darrelle Reese and Ernest Reese; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, church family, and all whose lives he was blessed to touch.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mertha Reese and Ernest Reese, and by his beloved son, Alvin Burrage, whom he now joins in the presence of the Lord.

Though Reverend Burrage's earthly journey has ended, his faith reminds us of God's eternal promise:

"Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your Lord." - Matthew 25:23

While his family and friends will deeply miss him, they rejoice in knowing that he has entered into the presence of his Savior. His legacy of faith, service, love, and sacrifice will continue to inspire all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in their hearts.
