Homegoing service for Mr. Robert Lee Bailey, Sr. "Big B" who passed away, Friday, February 21, 2014, will be held Saturday, March 1st, 11:00 a.m. at the Center of Manifestation Church, 3102 East Lake Ave, Rev. Albert Gallmon, Jr. pastor officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Robert was born February 19, 1948 in Lake City, Florida to the late Rev. Arthur Lee Bailey, Sr., and Annie Mae Clayton Bailey. He enjoyed working with his 2 huge fish aquariums and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Johnny Lee Bailey, Sr., sisters, Annie Campbell Jordan and Annie Bailey Thornton and cousin, Dorothea K. Jackson. He leaves to cherish his memories with his devoted wife, Sandra Vicks Bailey; loving children, Cush Nahshon, Robert Bailey, Jr. and wife, Aesha and Rodrick Bailey, Sr.; grandchildren, Rodrick, Jr., Rodreka, Lena, Robin and Sylas Bailey; brothers, Arthur Lee Bailey, Jr., Willie Bailey, Sr. (Sandy), and David Bailey; sisters, Evelyn Bailey Simmons (James), Dorothy Simmons (Hubert, Sr.) and Patricia Straughter (Mitchell); nieces, Juanita James, Shirley Anderson, Wanda Campbell, Steffanie Thornton, Tanyia Folsom, Kim Campbell, Michelle Mills, Stacey Simmons, Shonette Simmons, DeAnna Tolbert and Briana Simmons; nephews, Joe, Mack, Benny, Eugene, Vernon and Ernest Campbell, Sharon Jordan, John Bailey, Hubert Simmons, Jr., Trevor Thornton, Michael Simmons, Patrick Tyler, Steven Bailey Simmons, Willie Bailey, Jr., James Simmons, Jr., Faran, Orbra, Tyrone and Rico Bailey; the 1920 & Neighborhood Sons; and a host of other sorrowing family and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service.
