Robert was born on April 26, 1958, to Amos Fruster and Hattie Newton.

He loved bike riding, reading, barbequing, and volunteering. As a volunteer, he coordinated and distributed clothes, shelter, and counsel to his local community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Hattie Fruster; and brother, Amos L. Fruster, Jr.

He leaves to cherish memories with his loving devoted wife of 40 years, Pastor Brenda Fruster; children, LaTonya McLeod, and Robert Fruster; grandchildren, Christopher Fruster, Kamron McLeod, Morgan McLeod, Malik Fruster, Aubrey Sutherland, Adrianna Sutherland, Omari Fruster, Khari Fruster, Samiyah Fruster, and Anthony Fruster; brothers, Timothy, Andrew (Sandra), and Ricky (Liz) Fruster; sister, Brenda Fruster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family.
