Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Robert Lee "Zeke" Ivison of Tampa, who passed away, Monday, October 5, 2015 will be held Saturday, October, 17th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd, Michael Neely, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Zeke was an excellent artist, photographer, weapons specialist (compliments of the U.S. Army), jack of all trades and master of all. Zeke had a great sense of humor, as he felt that nothing beats a good laugh. In his younger and later years, Zeke was a big fan of Mad magazines as well as any subject on science, photography, drawing and sports, especially NFL football. He was preceded in death by both his parents Lue Birder Ivison and Willie Duggins; brothers, Jerry Ivison and Paul Sheffield; nephews, Stanley Sheffield and Jerry Oliver; and a host of other relatives. Zeke leaves to forever hold and cherish his memory his devoted sister/caretaker, Willie Mae Ivison; as well as devoted nieces/caretakers, Lue B. Gardner (Tony) and Ashley Oliver all of Tampa; cousins, Gladys Wooden (Artie), Charlene Jackson Parker and Celestine Bryant Robert, Tampa; Arthur Mims, Jr., Chicago, Jr., Frances Butler, of Georgia and Christopher Butler of North Carolina, Michael Jackson (Carla), Tampa, and Sgt. Jarvis Mannig, US Army, Korea, Russell Adams, Jr., Janna V. Jackson, Tampa, Sgt. Derek Washington, U.S. Capital Police, Washington, DC, Anquil Smith Brown (Michael, Jr.), Mikquan Brown and Mikera Brown of Tampa, Jovan Brown of Kentucky, John Wayne Jackson (Mary) of Titusville, FL, Rashard Jackson, Iowa, Timothy McFadden (Angie), LaShall Jackson (Kevin), Markquis Miller, Donoven Green, Domenique Green, Leonard, Jr., (Karyen), Kaylen Lovett, Leniya Lovett and Keith Spain all of Tampa, Kevin and Todd Jackson of Austin, Tx. Zeke leaves a host of other family, friends and neighbors who will always love his memory dearly. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at Aikens Funeral Home on Saturday for the service.
