Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Robert Williams Jordan of Tampa, Florida who passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 will be held Saturday, October 3rd, 2:00 p.m. at Northside M.B. Church, 5706 N. 40th street, Rev. Ricardo Robinson pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Robert W. Jordan was born in Tampa, Florida on November 11, 1948. He attended Hillsborough County public schools. He had a special love for horses and loved working on old cars. Robert accepted the Lord Jesus at an early age, and was called home by God. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Master Lovett Shine; parents, Robert and Mildred Jordan; sisters, Yolanda Warmack, Geraldine Iverson and brother, Randall Jordan. Robert leaves to cherish precious memories with daughters, Mildred Julius (Trevon), Marsenia Oliver, and Selina Oliver; sons, Richard Mills (Gene), Alfonso Jordan, Julius Oliver and Major Williams; grandchildren, Regina, Rachel, Richard II, Anthony, Reshand, Romeo, Romaine, Jalima, Ty, Deion, Shekier, Lakesha, Mekayla, Tionnie, Keyara, Jaquan, Lance, Isiah, Alicia, Malik, Alissa, Demerayha, Janiyah, Caleb, Quinik, Hakeem, Jaheim, La'fonson, Kin, and Clarissa; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Shine and Karen Weathers of Brooklyn New York; brothers, Curtis Brown, Rumel Jordan, Tony Jordan, Bernard Jordan and (Sharon); aunts, Lovie James, Mattie Phillips and Daisy Gaines; uncles, Solomon Jordan and Eddie Jordan (Inez); and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 2nd from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
