A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Robert Leroy Mungin of Tampa, Florida who passed away Monday, July 27, 2020, will be held Saturday, August 15th, 10:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Frank L. Wynn, officiating.

Robert Leroy Mungin was born December 12, 1947 in Umatilla, Florida to the late Hardee and Rosa Lee (Clark) Mungin. He enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, telling jokes and making his famous sweet potato pies. He attended Grace Mary M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hardee Mungin; mother and step-father, Rosa and Frank Black; relatives, Franklin, Sabrina and Eugene. He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted long-time companion and caregiver, Dorothy Reynolds; children, Obadiah Mungin (Shakira), Charman Benemon (James), Nekisha Baily (Faran), Romell Mungin (Chantel) and Nicole Livingston; grandchildren, Jarquez Langston (Derricika), Jamisha, Jayla, Javionna, Jalissia, Jujuan, Jamel, Crystal, Romell, Roshawn, Romain, Romesha, Tyvarius, Syrinity, Jaylea, Javon, Kimona, Deshawn, Jeleedn, Jurnee, Jermaine, Lee, Brittany, Jamaal, Alexis, Cornailius and Odelna Mungin; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Eddie Mungin; sister, Mary Hatchett; aunt, Julia Jones (Lawrence); uncles, Arthur Clark (Carol) of Georgia and Alfonso Clark of California; nieces, Katrina Green, Evangelia Anderson and Selina Scott; nephew, James Reynolds; sisters-in-law, Ozzie Ashley and Juanita Reynolds; brothers-in-law, Wardell Bradshaw, Paul Reynolds, Aaron Reynolds (Viriginia) and Johnny Reynolds; the neighbors, Tampa General Hospital Staff and Dr. Shaw.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, August 14th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. We are following the CDC guidelines.
