Robert, affectionately "Sporty Reed", was born on August 16, 1952, in Tampa, FL., to Isadore Reed, Sr. and Queenie Mae Reed. He loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, listening to gospel music, watching movies and sporting events on TV, traveling, and eating at his favorite restaurants.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Isadore Reed Sr., and Queenie Mae Reed; brother, Isadore Reed, Jr.; and daughter, Gwendolyn Reed.


He leaves precious memories with his wife, Mary Reed; children, Elderwin (Tamaya) and Ayesha Reed, Laurence and Eric Redfield, Nicci Reed-Washington, Raesha Ellison, and Sherri, Mary and Charlene Harrison; grandchildren, Mariah Horace, Trikey Cannon, Sir Kenneth Woods II, Imani Newkirk-Hall, DeOndre Newkirk, Kyla Reed, VaNeshia Davis, Noria Davis, Lashae Redfield, Laurence Redfield, Chandra Redfield, Josiah Redfield, Deshawn Redfield, and Jalen Warren, Shamaria Jefferson, and Jermarcus Sellier, a host of great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Henry, June Ramsey, and Rosa Morgan; a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins; friends, Ronnie Browdy, Terryl Lipsey, Shirley Spearman, Scottie Guess, and the Kincy-Warren family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
