Robert Soto was born on March 10,1956 in Brooklyn NY to Cecilio and Martha Soto, who preceded him in death along with his brother, Orlando Soto. Robert completed all levels of school in Brooklyn, NY before enrolling into the United States Navy on June 30, 1975. Robert proudly served as a Radioman Second Class, until he was honorably discharged on June 19,1979.

Upon returning to Brooklyn NY as a veteran of The United States Navy, Robert met Vernedicta, who he married in August 1982. On January 29, 1985, the couple were blessed with their first and only baby girl, Cassandra Marie, who he loved and cherished with all his heart. Robert and Vernedicta dissolved their marriage in 1994, but he remained a loving and caring father until the day he passed.

Robert began his career as a letter carrier at the United States Postal Service in 1983. Robert proudly worked as a letter carrier for over 30 years, until he retired in 2019. This is where he met the love of his life and best friend, Deborah. Robert and Deborah were married on July 4, 2020. They shared over 25 amazing years together.

He leaves to cherish his wife Deborah, his daughter Cassandra and bonus daughters, Olivia and Martha; siblings, Elsa, Shondell and Mariano; granddaughter, Aurora and bonus grandchildren, Shatiek, Samantha and Courtney; bonus great-grandchildren, Corey III, Shatiek Jr. and Raelyn; sons-in-law, Pio and Kelvin; brother-in-law, Julian; and a host of family and friends.

At the end of his life Robert accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.
