Robert Lee Taylor was born on November 6, 1947, in Newbern, Alabama to the late Catherine Gooden. He moved to Tampa, FL, and met his late wife, Dorothy M. Taylor where he spent over 20 years working for Greenfiber, and over 20 years at Florida Steel. He lived a full life enjoying friends, family, and sports. He was preceded in death by his wife, mother, grandparents, Charlie and Leonna Taylor; and brother, Curtis Gooden. He leaves to cherish memories: son, Robert Taylor, Jr. (Cynthia); daughters, Tracia Taylor, LaTasha Henderson (Keith), Shanira Taylor; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; uncle, Aaron Taylor; brothers, Joseph Gooden, Jessie Taylor (Cynthia), and Gary Gooden (Katrina); sisters, Carrie Waitman, Geneva Grimsley (Ray), Rosetta Turner, and Daisy Felton; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
