Wake services for Ms. Rochelle L. Watson of 3508 E. Deleuil Avenue, Tampa, who passed away on Sunday, April 11th, will be held on Friday, April 16th, 5-8 p.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow on Saturday, April 17th at 9:30 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, Tampa. Rochelle was born on November 9, 1982, to Brenda L. Evans and Edward J. Watson. She attended the schools of Hillsborough County and enjoyed singing, cooking and entertaining. She was baptized at an early age at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Tampa. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Maud Lemons, great-grandfather, Ernest Lemons, and uncle, Tony C. Evans, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, special friend, Aubrey Curry; son, Glenn Powell; daughter, Aubreyana Curry; mother, Brenda L. Evans; father, Edward (Eddie) Watson; siblings, Roland Tavares Evans, Roxanne F. Evans, Rozanna E. Watson and friend, Ralph, Rosevelt M. Britton and Roberta C. Britton, all of Tampa; grandmother, Catherine Gibson, grandmother and grandfather, Benjamin & Josephine Watson; uncle, Emanuel Evans (Telca); aunts, Audrey G. Clarke, Pamela Gibson, Debra Watson, Elise Watson, and Bonita Watson; nephews, Roland T. Evans, Jr., Gabriel Watson and Rahkil O. Britton; nieces, Tabianna Evans and Toni Evans; special cousins, Tony Coleman and Michael Coleman; godmother, Annette Killins; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. on Friday.
