Homegoing celebration for Mr. Roderick R. Alexander of Tampa who passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 will be held Saturday, July 19th at 10:00 a.m., Pleasant Chapel AME Church, 2615 E. Chipco Street, Pastor James Crews, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Roderick R. Alexander was born October 14, 1981 in Tampa, Florida. Roderick enjoyed music, football and sports. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Alexander, Dupree and Thornton. He leaves to cherish his memories with wife, Kiwanna Alexander; children, Rodricka Alexander, Zeriah Alexander and Tajari Alexander; parents, Lonnie (Fern) Alexander, Sr. and Jacqueline (Dwight) Ricketts; step-parents, Regina (Dwayne) Ware; brothers, Lonnie Alexander, Jr., Ryan Alexander, Derrick Alexander, Cedrick Alexander and Anthony Davis; sisters, Kemi Tolliver, Aisha Tolliver and Tarvia Alexander; aunts, Althia Alexander, Eunice Donaldson, Glynis West and Veronica Booth; uncles, Rick Porter and Jerry Sloan; nieces, Alexis, Brenda, Jada, Regan, Derien, Denilah and Camorah; nephews, Deonte, Jacquez and Anaye; cousins, Eugenio, Antonio, Domonique, Lisa, Curtis, Alex, Johnnie, The Wingo family, Tiarra and Cacedric; close dear friends, Kelson, Jermaine, Shantel, Rodney, Deandre and Leroy; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 18th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
