Rodrique De Travia Thompson, affectionately known as "Rod"; was born on November 26, 1985, in St. Catherine, Jamaica, to Donald and Marvine Thompson. From an early age, Rodrique exuded warmth, creativity, and a zest for life that touched everyone around him. He had a deep love for traveling, cooking, painting, reading, crafting, and all forms of artistry. Rodique approached life with a wholehearted spirit—doing everything with passion, flair, and intention. He was never one to settle for the ordinary; everything he did was purposeful and extraordinary. Rodrique was known for his boundless generosity—literally the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. His kindness, loyalty, and radiant personality made him unforgettable. He valued genuine friendships, treasured his family, and had a deep appreciation for fine cuisine and life's finer details. To know Rod was to experience sincerity, joy, and authenticity.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Thompson; brother, Damian; grandparents, Claris, Doris, Winston, and Egbert; aunts, Sonja, Sydonie, Urma, and Cecile; and uncles, Linton, and Donna.
He leaves cherished memories to his mother, Marvine Thompson; brothers, Sheldon and Marlon; sisters, Tamika, Nadia, and Kelee (Jerrel); aunts, Vivienne and Pauline (Bernard); uncle, Lance (Molly); nieces, Koi, Kali, Jaylah, Mariyah, and Amanda; nephews, Javaughn, Kaden, Jaxson, and Tafari; a host of cousins and friends; and a plethora of relatives and friends.
