A homegoing celebration for Mr. Ronald Felton of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, will be held Saturday, November 25th at 2:00 p.m. at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 E. Lowe Street, Rev. Dr. Glen B. Dames, pastor officiating. Ronald Felton was born June 25, 1957 in Sanford, Florida to the late James Felton, Sr. and Aretha Jones. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County; Jefferson High School. He worked for Alfred Construction Company for 25 years. He was always a helping hand and volunteered at the Food Bank. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Joe Felton (Bilal Shabazz). He loved helping people and enjoyed spending time at the food bank making sure he was there early to assist those in need. He leaves to cherish his memory with children, Kito D. Felton and Carnell Watson; grandchildren, Kito, Lamont, and Keon Felton; mother, Aretha Jones; brothers, twin, Reginald Felton (Gloria), James Felton, Jr., Bruce Marshall, D'Andra Marshall and Kenneth Lofton; sisters, Linda Cunningham, Tina Felton Penny (Sylvester), Sheryl Kelly, Cynthia Hicks, Angela Hicks and Cassandra Harris; aunts, Dorothy Harper (Gene), Gloria Kenton, Rose Mary Hopton and Ann Pearl Wimberley; uncles, Lester Jackson, Gaddan Roland, Rollin Gattis and KC Watson; a host of nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
