Mr. Ronald Eugene Woodard was born in Tampa, Florida in Hillsborough County on December 23, 1946, to the late Mr. Taft Woodard, Sr., and Mrs. Lucile Woodard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Mae Woodard, three brothers, Taft Woodard, Jr., Curtis Woodard, and Elijah Woodard. Ronald was educated in the Hillsborough County Public School System, ultimately becoming a very proud graduate of Middleton Senior High School. He was a dedicated employee of Hillsborough County Public Works on Sheldon Rd. for 30+ years. Ronald transitioned from this life on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, after having lived a full, blessed, and happy life. He is survived by his son, Curtis Woodard and daughter, Zellwana White, blended family sons, Alvin Comer, Timothy Comer, Sr., and Tyrone Comer, Sr. (Renita) and daughter Helen Comer, all natives of Tampa, FL. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. His brothers Apostle Michael Woodard (Angelic) and Elder Edwin Woodard, natives of Tampa, FL. His sister Mother Amanda Barnes (Frank) and Barbara Ann Woodard Singleton, (Donald) and Sister-in-law, Johnnie Mae Flurnoff, Pavo, GA. Aunts, Barbara Grant, (New York, NY) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a special friend Willie Coleman, and other relatives and friends.
