Memorial services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Jackson, "Sister" of Tampa who passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012, will be held on Friday, May 18th, 6:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Rosa was born July 5, 1938 she enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Jackson, parents, Lovett Thomas and Essie Thomas, brothers and sisters. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with, son, Leonard Mays; grandchildren, Gary Mays, Deborah Dixon, Kim, Pedro and Noni Vega; great grandchildren, Britinae Mays, Colyia Carr, Johnny Simmons and Akenya McCloude; great great grandchild, Aaliyah Martinez; family friend, Dorothy Dixon Pressley; and host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Friday for the service. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING FRIDAY.
