Homegoing services of Sister Rosa Lee Pinkney of 7311 Mascotte Street, who passed away Sunday, April 11th will be Saturday, April 17th at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 7221 S. Sherrill Street, Rev. Darryl Matthews, pastor, with Rev. Dr. Leeomia W. Kelly, eulogist. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Sister Pinkney was born September 5, 1914 in Royal, Florida. She was a devoted member of Mt. Zion A.M.E Church where she served faithfully. Sister Pinkney leaves to cherish her memories three sons, a loving son, Clarence Pinkney of Clearwater, William Pinkney and wife of Tampa, and McKinley Pinkney of Tampa; a loyal and faithful daughter, Priscilla Plair and husband of Tampa; 12 loving grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Matttie Pinkney and husband; and a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives and friends of Port Tampa; a very special friend, Laurice Peterson; best friend, Christopher Sheppard. The visitation will be held at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, 7401 Kissimmee Street, Tampa, on Friday, April 16th from 6-8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday at 10:45 a.m.
