Rose was born on April 4, 1953 in Miami, Florida to W.C and Daisy Pew.

Rose loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Pew; sisters, Annie Pearl Newborn and Gloria Stokes; and her son, Frederick McDuffie.

She leaves precious memories with her children, Alfonzo McDuffie (Carolyn) and Aledward Robertson; grandchildren, Britney McDuffie, Alphonoso McDuffie, Shawndrick Alford, Whitney McDuffie, Dominique Gilyard, Alonso McDuffie, Keyonna Jackson, Jeremy Felton, and Aledward Robertson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Johnnie, LeNiya, Tyrek, Kanijah, Chasity, Torri, Frederick, Terri, Alphonso III, Ava, Ciahree, ZaiCorey, Amiraclle, LuAnna, Queen, Dominick, Avianna, Antonio, Alexander, and Ali; brothers, Alfess Pew (Jackie) and John Pew (Daisy); a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; special family members, Valerie Pew and Henry Pew (Dendy).
