Mrs. Rose Marie Troupe was born on June 20, 1949, in Tampa, Florida. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter-in-law, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and treasured friend to many. Rose graduated from Blake High School in 1967, where she met the love of her life and future husband, Pastor Larry S. Troupe. Their love blossomed into a beautiful 55-year marriage built on faith, unity, and unwavering devotion. A dedicated and hardworking woman, Rose worked at Honeywell for 12 years and later retired from Quest Diagnostics in 2012, completing her professional journey with excellence and commitment. She was a devoted member of Browns Memorial Church C.O.G.I.C from 1986 to 2000, and in 2000, she became an active member of Universal Church of the Harvest, C.O.G.I.C., where she faithfully served as First Lady beside Pastor Larry S. Troupe for 25 years. Her presence, leadership, and gentle spirit enriched the ministry and deeply impacted every life she touched.
A devoted woman of God, Rose lived guided by her favorite scripture, Psalm 121: 1-2:"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." Her faith was steadfast, and her life reflected kindness, compassion, encouragement, and a warm, welcoming spirit. Rose was the heart of her family. Known for her extraordinary cooking, she brought generations together around her table. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, comfort, and meals prepared with joy and care.
Rose was preceded in death by her loving parents, Bernice Williams and Charles Robert Williams; and her siblings, Barbara Wright, Melvin Williams, Freddie Lee Williams, and Michael Williams.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, compassion, and unwavering love. Rose is survived by her devoted husband, Pastor Larry S. Troupe; her daughters Tangela Marchman (Darrell) and Demetria Troupe Mathews (David); her sons Larry Troupe (Daina) and Antron Troupe Sr. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Margaret Troupe, whom she loved dearly. Her cherished grandchildren include Brittany, Kathlyn, Daria, Darrion, Dakia, Trevon (Diamond), Jonsnia, Ausnia, Kiara, Javara, Roderick, Raquel, Antranique, Antron Jr., Elijah, Iyana, Daniel, Lauryn, Analise, Alee, and Darrell Jr. Her great-grandchildren are:Jeremiah, Janiyah, Paris, Paityn, Brelyn, Seth, Zachariah, Tremier, Royalty, Isaiah, Charlee, Carigh, Semaj, Khia, Marcus Jr., and Shilo Raine. She is survived by her sisters Linda Williams, Veronica Williams, and Sara Denson; and her brothers, Gregory Williams, Sr. and Charles Gallon. She is also survived by her dear aunt, Rosita Graham and cousins Twanda, Marisol, and Armando Jonesia, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. special thanks to the Wright, Gallon, and Pease family members for their continued love and support. Her life was a testament to love; love for God, love for her family, and love for people. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated.
