Rosia was born on March 28, 1931, to the late Eugene and Daisy Brisbon. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida, until her health prevented her from going. She had a tremendous love for sitting on the porch listening to her music and joking around with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Daisy; sister, Pearlie Mae McCoy of Jacksonville, Florida.; nieces, Carol Dorsey of Tampa, Florida, and Gwendolyn Rich of Jacksonville, Florida; and nephew, Sydney McCoy of Jacksonville, Florida.

She leaves to cherish her memory: a host of great-grandnieces, Daisy and Marvin of Jacksonville, Florida, Tanya (Rick) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Zenovia (Dexter); as well as many great-grand nephews including, Larue (Darlene), and several other cousins and friends, whom she loved dearly.
