Homegoing service for Mrs. Ruby Dean Lundy Stillings of Tampa who passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, will be held on Saturday, February 14th, 11:30 a.m. at Emmanuel Cathedral Church of God In Christ, 6450 State Road 579, Seffner, Florida, Rev. Jesse H. Smalley II, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Mayberry Cemetery, Seffner, Florida. Ruby was born July 6, 1934 in Americus, Georgia to the late Jerry Dean Lundy and Ola Mae Walls. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late William R. Stillings this union was blessed with 13 children. She accepted Christ at an early age. She continued in her faith and received her missionary license on June 15, 1998 from Bishop Alton Fain, Jr. She received her endowment certificate from the International Eastern Star Organization. Ruby attended the local school of Hillsborough County and was employed with Ocean Products, Singleton Shrimp Company, Hillsborough County School Board as a bus driver at Mango Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her mother Ola Mae Walls Roberts, husband, William R. Stillings and son, Charlie F. Styles. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: 5 sons, William H. Stillings, Jr. Roosevelt Stillings (Diane), Clarence Stillings (Joann) Eddie Stillings and Lamarcus Stillings (Margaret); 2 daughters, Ruby Stillings (Stan) and Edna Stillings (Curtis); 1 sister, Fannie Cobb Dale (Richard) 2 grandchildren she raised, Karen and Kanisha; 26 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 27 great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandchild; 1 goddaughter, Cheryl Garrett and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 13th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
