Mrs. Rudine Hopkins Program

Rudine Hopkins "Pretty Little Girl" was born on October 19, 1946. She lived a life full of love, joy and meaningful connections, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew her. Rudine was a proud graduate of Middleton Senior High School, class of 1966. She dedicated part of her professional life to caring for others, working at Graham Homes as an RN/CNA, where her compassion and commitment made a lasting impact. She was a devoted member of Loving Hill Primitive Baptist Church, faithfully serving under the leadership of Elder Leland L. Johnson, Sr. Her faith was an important part of her life that guided her actions and relationships. Rudine enjoyed life to the fullest. Her hobbies included dancing, shopping, spending time with loved ones, partying and singing; activities that reflected her vibrant and joyful spirit. She will be remembered as loving, kind, funny, friendly, intelligent, adventurous, wise and generous, among many other wonderful qualities that touched countless lives. A quote that will forever remind us of her presence is: "You think you're all that."

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Clark and Ruby Manning; husband, Garland P. Hopkins, Sr.; grandson, Leland Maurice Moses, Jr.; brothers, Charlie T. Turner and John Manning.

She leaves cherished memories to her fiancé Adrian D. Miller; sons, Garland Hopkins, Jr. (Janice), Vaughn Hopkins (Debra) and Keith Hopkins (Tonya); daughters, Tonia Hopkins (Craig Jones) and Deidra Hopkins (Jermaine); grandchildren, David Gay, Tashawna Session, Vonda Hopkins, Lester Mosses, Levertice Mosses, Cedrik Arnold, Demarcus Hopkins, Mondriana George, Mondranisha George, Mondrierra George, Keith Hopkins, Jr., Keith R. Hopkins, Jalen Hopkins, Aaliyah Hopkins, Destini Williams and Ashley Adams; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence Manning (Harriett); aunt, Geraldine Gilchrist; goddaughter, Satresha Williams a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; along with best friends, Linda Dexter, Mildred Mills, Vernette and Iragene; special friend, Janice Smith.  Rudine Hopkins' legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
