Rudolph Valentino Devine was born on August 13, 1959, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Rudolph Valentino Devine, Sr. and Dorothy Evelyn Devine. Val was a talented cook and it was one of his favorite things to do. He could light up any room with laughter, especially with family. Rudolph was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Valentino Devine, Sr. and mother, Dorothy Evelyn Devine; son, Eric Brown; and sister, Tammy Devine.

Val leaves cherished memories with his children:  Takiyah Devine, Simone Brown Devine, and Nandi Brown Devine; grandchildren, Demetrius Powell, Kimora Daley, Najiah Powell, Jairus Simmons, Jr., and  Eric Brown ll; great-grandchildren, Dakota Sanford, Dalaiya Powell, and Eric Brown, Jr.,; sisters, Tina Devine, Terri Devine -Sloan (Anothy); nieces, Jerilyn Devine, and Te'yana Devine Alyce.
