Rudolph was born in Tampa, Florida on October 14, 1961 to Jettie Wilson Jr. and Lena Mae Johnson Wilson. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. Rudy as he was affectionately known, was a man about town, well known for his friendship, kindness and generosity, if there was a party or celebrations (No matter what kind) you would find him there as the music man. He was a staple in his community Progress Village (PV4Life) you could find him riding around playing his music, one of his favorite spots was Fishs house (aka the Buzzard Nest) he brought the good times with him along with the music, he lived his life to the fullest.

He loved spending time with his family, his greatest love and joy came from the children, especially his nieces and nephews. He had an open door policy all were welcome. We were blessed to have him in our life, He will be truly missed.

He was preceded by his Angels in waiting, mother, Lena Wilson, great grandmothers, Martha Johnson and Eva Auguste; uncles, Richard Williams, Cornelius (Bay Bay) Williams and Walter McWilliams; sisters, Gloria Johnson and Tambra Wilson, and brothers, Curtis and Jackie Wilson. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, spouse Winfred Sutton Wilson; father, Jettie Wilson, Jr.; sisters, Jennifer, Karen and Jacquelyn Wilson, and Sophia Nelson; nieces, Keshia Wilson, Natalie (Reggie) Tolbert, Shantell and Sherrell Wilson, Andria Hill, LaJoan and Brittany Walton; nephews, Darrell Wilson, Lomack Thompson, Eugene and Torey Walton; brothers-in-law, Lomack Thompson, Jr., and Gregory Walton; a host of great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, friends and neighbors.
