A homegoing service for Mr. Samuel E. Miller of Tampa, Florida who passed away Monday, September 24, 2018, will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Samuel was born April 13, 1933 in Hanover, Jamaica to the late Jabez Miller and Urseline Alcock. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to go fishing on Sunday's and watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends playing dominoes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Miller. He leaves precious memories with his children, Lloyd Miller and Donna Miller; 10 grandchildren; brother, Clive Miller; sisters, Enid Miller, Phyllis Miller of London, England and Ivy Miller of Georgia; 8 nieces; 7 nephews; 2 cousins; and a host of dear friends who will dearly miss him. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 5th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
