Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Samuel Lee Tuggerson, who passed away, Tuesday, July 20, 2010, will be held Saturday, July 24th, 3:30 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. Mr. Tuggerson was born on November 17, 1940 in Citra, Florida. Mr. Tuggerson was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Tuggerson had a great love for fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Dennison and Lattie Tuggerson. Mr. Tuggerson is survived by his devoted wife, Claudette Tuggerson; step children, Calvin Stewart, Sabrina Stewart, Tammara Johnson and Trudy Moore; grandchildren, Timothy Stewart, Britnay Stewart, Jarvis Gordon, Tharon Johnson, Cory Dupree, Jasmine Ashley, Monica Robinson and Kiarra Moore; brothers, Clarence Dennison (Lillian) and Bennie Dennison; sisters, Ida Mae Patterson and Helen Smith; niece, Tequesta Haynes (David); cousins, Elizabeth Morrow and Helen Turner; special friends, Joe Louis Johnson and David Mathis; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 23rd from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Chapel by 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
