Sandra Marie Johnson affectionately known as 'Rea or Sandra J', was born December 11, 1955 in Pahokee, Florida to Annie Bell Johnson and Will Taylor. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She was an active member of Exciting Faith Alive of Tampa, Florida, Pastor Hawkins. She loves the Lord, and would always sing 'Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in My Darkness, My God, that is Who You Are'. Sandra is a 1974 graduate of King High School. After graduation she attended Hillsborough Community College. Sandra worked many years for the Hillsborough County School Board as a Teacher's Aide. All who knows her will never forget how much she loved her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by Mother Annie Bell Johnson-Williams, Stepfather Thomas Washington Sr and Ike Williams. Also, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memories: Her loving, caring and dedicated children Kimberly Johnson (Kenny), Corey Johnson (Andrea), Samuel Vincent Law, Eric Law and Valencia Fails who all resides in Tampa, Florida. Sandra was blessed with nine loving grandchildren, Eric Dukes (Amanda), Corey Johnson Jr, Travis Turner, Shyleah Hayes, Courtney Johnson, Shaniah Law, Jayden Law, Antwann Johnson, Andre Johnson and blessed with one great granddaughter Alaiya Dukes. Her sister Thomasina Washington-Scott who resides in Jacksonville, Florida has been her dedicated, loving and supportive rock. Her loving brother Bobby Dean Johnson of Port Charlotte, Fl. Three nephews Dwayne (Nuke) Scott Jr, Joshua Scott, Christian Scott and a niece Regan Scott of Jacksonville, Florida. Blended family Hiawatha Washington, Wanda Jackson, Thomas Washington (Carla) of Tampa, Florida. God children Sharita Wilson, Aramis Edwards, Deondria Lee and Melania Hardy. She leaves to mourn devoted and loving friend ex-husband Samuel (Michael) Law. Rea always had the continued love, support and encouragement of her friends Sharon Robinson, Teze Jones and Ella Salter they shared loads of fun and laughter. Her friends Sharon Hair, Jenetta Brown and Teresa Sistrunk preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn the Johnson, Cobarris, Law, Fleming, Boyd and Riley Families and host of many relatives and friends.
