Homegoing celebration for Ms. Saundra Aisha Nichelle McCollom of Tampa, FL who passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 will be held Saturday, February 21st, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Superintendent Jadie Singletary, pastor of New Faith Temple COGIC, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Saundra was a member of New Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. and played the Violin and Viola. She loved playing Mozart, but her favorite piece was "Canon in D major by Pachelbel". She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Cornell McCollom; aunt, Anita Timmons and uncles, Dave Taylor, Jerome McCollom and Horace McCollom. She leaves to cherish her memories with a loving son, Devin Adam Cornell McCollom; a devoted mother, Barbara McCollom; sister, Kenya Gonzalez (Manuel); god-sisters, Melissa Cabrera and Nikkita Brown; aunts, Wanda Fagan, Beverly Daniels, Valerie Rodriguez and Patricia Williams (Willie); uncles, Elder Leon Miller (Yvonne), Julius Whigham, Jackie McCollom (Helen) and Frank McCollom; father figure, Steve Everett "daddy"; beloved cousin, Edna Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
