Serafin was born on February 23, 1968, in New York, NY to the late Dalila Rodriguez. Serafin was a man who cherished the outdoors and loved spending time at the beach. He was an avid collector of knives and guns, and he had a passion for car shows and collecting hats. Family time was of utmost importance to him, especially being with his beloved daughters. Serafin will be remembered for his fun-loving, humorous, and generous nature by those who knew him well.

Serafin was preceded in death by his mother, Dalila Rodriguez.

He leaves cherished memories to his wife, Joleen Graciani; daughters, Sharissa and Serena Graciani; sister, Peggy Ortega; nephews, Bruno Soto, and Joel Torres (Nicole); great-nieces, Lia and Londyn Torres; great-nephews, Liam and Logan Torres; godmother, Fay Morales, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
