A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Sharon Ann (Davis) Simpson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 will be held Saturday, May 6th, 10:00 at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Dr., Rev. Larry Roundtree II pastor with Rev. Eugene J. Brown, Jr. officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Sharon was born January 4, 1960 in Tampa, Florida. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, shopping and watching the T.V. show Criminal Minds while drinking her favorite drink coca cola. She was preceded in death by her parents, S.T. Brown and Geraldine Pierce; brother, Fredrick Brown; grandmother, Willie Mae James; aunts, Rose Williams, Ernestine Brown and Mae Ella Sturks; uncles, Raford Pierce, Willie Green and Eugene Brown, Sr. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Lacosha Davis, Willie J. Stewart, Jr. (Veronica) of Nashville, TN, Ebony Stewart, Rahshawn Stewart (Yvonne), Jamaal Stewart and Latoya Stewart; grandchildren, Jaylon, Karesse, Deza, Makaella, Kiara, Nathaniel, Mathias-Ra, Willie III, Samaya, Razonna, Nathalia and Ophelia; sister, Patricia Pierce (Al); brothers, Calvin Pierce (Catresia) of Bartow, FL, Reginald Pierce and Alvin Brown (Dale); aunts, Maudie Marshall, Verdell Mickens, Denise Newson, Shirley James, Janice Jackson, Lola Scaife (John), Earline Williams, Mattie Mitchell (Burney) of Akron, OH and Carrie McMillian; uncle, Willie Bernard Pierce; nieces, Laquina, Shaka, Tyja, Ariel and Re'Nijha Pierce, Latrice Mack, Maria Reed, Calvina Young, Marion Clark, Shameka Williams, Ashley, Brandi, Shareka and Tequeria Brown; nephews, Clennie, Aubrey, Demetrius and Harvis Pierce, Alvin, Jr. and Reginald Brown and Fred Lee Jones; sister-in-law, Mary Brown; a host of other relatives; lifelong friend, Willie J. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 5th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
