Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Sharon E. Frazier of Tampa who passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 will be held Saturday January 25th at 1:30 p.m., New Mt. Zion MB Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Apostle O'Neil Salmon pastor of Shiloh Restoration Tabernacle Church, officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Sharon E. Frazier was born in Donalsonville, GA to the late Mancey Coachman and Myra Lee Coachman. She was the granddaughter of the late Willie Coachman & Lula Akins and the late David Curry & Lucille Graham. She has been a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay Area. She attended Middleton Senior High School & graduated from Leto Senior High School in 1972. She also attended Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. She was married to the late Andrew L. Frazier, Jr. for 37 years. She loved the Lord, her husband, her children & family above all else. She was employed with the City of Tampa and held several positions as a medical assistant and nurse before retiring in 1995.She was preceded in death by sister Linda Gilyard and nephew Reggie Gilyard.She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with children, Anddrikk L. Frazier (Rena), Sharvettye A. Blackwell (Marquel), Alleo L. Frazier; grandchildren, Ariana J. Mosley, Aja J. Frazier, Alivia J. Frazier, Aeden J. Frazier, and Laila E. Allen; god-children, Anichia L. Allen and Byron J. Allen; sister, Beverly Turner; brothers, Ronald Coachman and Gregory Coachman (Devita); aunts, Agnus Williams, Hazel Rambeau, Amma Graham, Dorthy Dix Mosley (Albert) Yvoncile Clinch and Yvonne Freeman (Willie Fred); uncles, Howard Coachman, Willie "Buba" M. Coachman, Wayne Coachman (Jackie) and Eddie Ray (Mary); godmother, Barbara Johnson; nieces, Yolanda McCarthon, Grenecia Coachman, Gerbreta Coachman, Gherrica Coachman and Katrina Turner; nephews Eric Gilyard and Corey Frazier; brother-in-law, Anthony Frazier (Valarie) and Ernest Gilyard; cousins Michael Graham, Marvin Graham, Reginald Freeman, Yvette Grace, Kim Camacho, LaShawn Freeman, Derrick McClendon, Kenisha Ray, and Jeanquitta Ray; special friends, Teacher Beryl Walker, Andre Walker, Carolyn Sanchez, Ed Johnson, Fred Sallye, Rilla Henry, Elaine Sherman, Cheryl Everett, Amelia Davila, Jimmy & Alice Smith and many others. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Friday January 24, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
