Sharon Lorene
Stevens
August 24, 2000 – February 4, 2025
Ms. Sharon Lorene Stevens 24, of Riverview, born August 24, 2000 ("Double O") passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, tragically losing her fight against cancer (neuroendocrine carcinoma). She was surrounded by her loving family. Born into a bilingual family, she fluently switched between English and, Russian, and showed tremendous potential at learning Spanish. She was a proud third-generation dragon to be born.
Sharon was resilient, confident, colorful, and full of positivity. She was INCREDIBLY resilient, surviving a multi-visceral organ transplant at 8 months, multiple surgeries through her childhood, and fighting with not one, but TWO different cancers. Her confidence was reflected equally in her personality and appearance, and she always embraced herself. She loved every color of the rainbow and intertwined this love into every aspect of her life. She was passionate about arts and crafts, always making personalized gifts for family and friends. She was a beacon of positivity and a bright light for everyone she touched. She poured love, care, and kindness into the world, especially through generations of dogs she helped raise. She had a deep passion for cars and loved driving her Mazda CX-5 every chance she could.
She will live on in the hearts of her grandmother: Larissa; parents, Lyudmila and Wayne; sisters, Aimee and Jessica; brothers, Gene (DeAnna) and David; nephews, Maxwell, Mason, Matteo, David, Tristan, Lonnie and Sebastian; nieces, Sophia and Olivia; best friend, Mellanie; family friends, Larissa, Roberto, Alina, Roxana, Khakim, Rita, Jair, and Marcia; favorite dog, Marvy; and countless other lives she's touched.
