Sheila, affectionately called "MeMa", was born on May 16, 1969, in Tampa, FL, to Lawrence William and Delores McGett. She was a member of the Miracle of God Faith Healing Gospel Church. She had a big heart and loved taking care of people and helping others in their time of need. She was willing to give the shirt off her back to help others.

She was preceded in death by Poppa William.

She leaves precious memories with her husband, Andre Hodge; children, Ashley Brown, Mark Gillyard, Andre Hodge, and Hazel Bug; grandchildren, JaMya Brown, JaNari House, and Aumonii Ardis; parents, Lawrence William and Delores McGett; brothers, Vernon Maidson and Anthony William; aunts, Emma Lee Walton, Betty Louise Smiley, and Mary Ingram; nieces, Rashawn Butler, LaShawn Butler, and Vernisha Madison; cousins, Theresa Williams, April Givens, Brenda Smiley, Rasheem Freeman, and Diane Levy; the Pierce and House families; and a host of other relatives and friends.
