Shelia Denise Richardson was born on April 14, 1967, in Apalachicola, Florida, to Albert Terell and Iva Mae Richardson.

It's said, "t takes a village to raise a child", and her late father, Tom Chance Green was instrumental in her rearing.

Shelia's life journey was one filled with love, service, and an unwavering dedication to her family and country. Shelia was educated at Battery Creek High School, where her aptitude for mathematics set her apart from her peers. Her thirst for knowledge and self-improvement led her back to the halls of education, where she achieved her high school diploma from Erwin Tech. Shelia sense of duty and patriotism shone brightly when she joined the United States Armed Forces in 1993. Her service in the United States Army was a testament to her strength, resilience, and commitment to the values she held dear.

Those who knew Shelia will fondly recall her as the life of the party. Whether through her infectious smile or the love she poured into her cooking, Shelia made sure everyone around her felt loved and cherished. Shelia was joined in Holy Matrimony on December 29th of 1989 to the cream of her coffee best known as "bug" Ronald Lamar Mills.

Shelia was the heart of her family, a devoted mother not only to her biological children, Robbie, Leshawn, and Rashen Bolles, but also to her adopted daughter, Kierra Hill. Her love knew no bounds.

Shelia is survived by her children Robbie, Leshawn, Rashen Bolles and Kierra Hill; mother, Iva Mae; brothers, tom, the late Vincent, Clozell, Keenan, Jeremy Turell, Patrick; sisters, Lashawn, Dandra, and Phyellchia; special granddaughter Makayla Martha Frances McKnight Bolles; significant other, Andre Lafond; 17 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
