The memorial service for Mrs. Shirley Ann Ross of Tampa, FL who passed away, Thursday, October 1, 2015 will be held Friday, October 16th, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Shirley was born April 15, 1943 in Miami, FL. She was educated within the School district of Hillsborough County and graduated from Middle Senior High School. She was a manager for Shells Restaurant for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Julia Baldwin; 2 sons, Walter and Reginald Chatman and 1 brother, Henry Thomas. She is survived by her 3 sons, Ray Baldwin, Alfred Chatman and Robert L. Chatman; mother-in-law, Lucille Chatman; 5 sisters-in-laws, Barbara Chatman, Carolyn Sanders (Chuck), Sylvia Maxwell (Burney), Lillian Allen (Wayne) and Doris Cromatie; 2 sisters, Mary Sloley (Arthur) of Spring Valley, New York, Idoma Parresh (Terneck) of New Jersey; 4 brothers, Artis L. Parrish (Mary), Adolphus Parrish of Montgomery, Alabama, Sam Parrish, Jr.(Chifeny) of Warner Robbins, GA; 3 special nieces, Kim Davenport, Sheila Reese and Cynthia Davenport; very special friend, Herbert Richardson; very close friends, Sylvia Maxwell, Shannon and Maria; a host of other relatives and friends.
