Obituary

Shirley Ann Wilson was born on August 12, 1948, in Lake City, FL to Troy, Sr., and Freddie L. Sherman. Shirley had a deep love for cooking, cherished family gatherings, and was a devoted football fan, with a particular passion for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Her infectious spirit and love for life will be missed by all who knew her. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Troy, Sr., and Freddie L. Sherman; beloved son, England A. Wilson; brothers, Robert Sherman, Sr., Mark Sherman, Sr., and Troy Sherman, Jr.; sister, Wilma G. Sherman; and nephew, Tony D. Monroe.

She is survived by her children, Edward A. Wilson, Sherna Wilson-Heyward (Richard), and Demetrious V. Wilson (Denitra); grandchildren, Kenya Telfair, Adrian Marshall Jr., Edward Wilson III, Michael Coleman (Leisha), Jaron Coleman (Jasmine), Demetria, DJ, Zion, Demonti, Deme, England Wilson Jr., Omarrion Wilson, CamRon Wilson, Jaquez Wilson, and Khayree Wilson; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Shirley leaves cherished memories to her sister, Carolyn Owens; aunt, Luvenia Crum; nieces, Sharese Wiley, Katrina Dent (Demarcus), Tiffany Borders (Walter), Marquita Morgan (Stanley), and Yolanda Sherman; nephews, Barry Brown, Mark Sherman Jr., and Robert Sherman, Jr.; a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends, Darlene Brooks, Mary Grace, Theodora Taylor, Kathy Sutton, and Marva Gay.
