Obituary

Sister Minnie Gray was born on September 6, 1940, in Panama City, Florida to George Lee Collins Sr. and Charlie Mae Collins. In 1965, Sis. Gray moved to Tampa, Florida where she met the love of her life, Willie Gray (aka "Gray"), and enjoyed 56 years of marriage before the Lord called Willie home. Over those many years, they raised 8 wonderful children. Sis. Gray was a faithful child of God and a member of the Pentecostal Church of God, where she served as a Praying Woman, Secretary, and President of Tampa's Scholarship Foundation for many years. We will remember Sis. Gray for many things, from her golden smile to her delicious cooking (esp. sweet potato pies), to the pride with which she carried herself - always classy and the epitome of a fashionista. But most of all we will miss her sense of purpose and virtue - to live by the word of the Lord and strive to be the best mother and life-long companion she could be - all of which she accomplished with splendor and grace! She leaves precious memories with her children, Tony (Johnnie Mae)Collins, Pamela Robinson, Dwight Collins, Angela Bowden, Cynthia DeLaughter, Yolanda Gray, and Dereck (Regina) Gray; grandchildren, Toni, Tony (TJ), Donna, Aaron, Dwenia, Denia, Dwight (DC), Javaris, Shante, Eboni, Carlas, Bobbi, Ashia, Dereck (DJ), Donovan; and a host of other loving greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
