A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Slyvie M. Beele of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 will be held on Saturday, July 24th, 11:00 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Osborne Ave. The interment will follow.

Slyvie M. Beele was born December 10, 1977 in Kinshasa, Congo Democratic Republic to the late Daniel Beele and Colette Sanza. She loved sewing. Chief and Caregiver Slyvie Beele love of life didn't come to an end with her death. Slyvie passed away on July 15, 2021 at the age of 43 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Slyvie completed her degree at the University of Kinshasa. Slyvie passion was learning new things and she shared her passion for learning with thousands of people she encounters over the years. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Slyvie. She loved a quiet evening with friends and a glass of wine in hand. During work breaks, Sylvie often explored the local beaches and found beauty in the waves of the ocean. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Slyvie is survived by her sons, Enock and Lemic and daughter, Priscilla; granddaughter, Naomi; sisters, Belinda Beele, Sophie Beeleand Prephina Beele; brother, Danny Beele; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held on Friday, July 23rd at Aikens Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
