Stephanie Renee Jackson-Jones, affectionately known as "Renee", was a beacon of love and kindness whose life was as vibrant and nurturing as the Florida sun under which she was born. On November 17, 2024, Renee's radiant spirit found peace as she passed away in Florida, surrounded by the warmth of her family's love. Born in Tampa on May 28, 1967, to Arthur J. Harris and the late Geraldine Harris, Renee grew up in a lively household with siblings, who added to the tapestry of her cherished memories. Though she faced the sorrow of losing her beloved brother, Willie J. Jackson, Jr., in 1994, and her mother, Geraldine, in 2019, Renee's resilience and loving nature never wavered. Renee found her life's companion in Daryl R. Jones, Sr., and the two united in marriage on the beautiful day of February 15, 2005. Renee's role as a sister shone brightly through her relationships with her sisters, Katrenia L. Harris (Eric) and Crystal Harris. A proud alumna of Leto Comprehensive High School, class of 1985, Renee's passion for learning propelled her to achieve her A.S. Degree in Medical Records Billing and Coding. Her professional journey was marked by her dedicated service at Centene Health Care, where her colleagues admired her for her diligence and warmth. Renee's zest for life was palpable in her love for travel and the treasured moments she spent with family and friends. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy, and those who knew her would describe her as nothing less than loving, kind, and thoughtful. Renee's impact on the world was immeasurable, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, the strength of family bonds, and the beauty of a life well-lived.
As we bid farewell to Stephanie Renee Jackson Jones, we celebrate the light she brought into our lives and the countless hearts she touched with her grace and compassion. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will live on, guiding us with the same love that she so generously shared throughout her remarkable life. The legacy of her nurturing love continued with her cherished grandchildren, Riley T. Jackson, Jr., Rylin Jackson, Darryon Jones, and Aaliyah Jones, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Renee's family circle extended to her nephews, Robert J. Jones Jr., Jimmy L. Muhammad (Roshawnda), her niece, Lani Segovia, her great-niece, Kimmy L. Muhammad, and her great-nephews, Jimmy L. Muhammad Jr. and Robert J. Jones III (RG3). She is loved by Aunts, Uncles, and a host of other family and friends. Each relationship was a testament to her boundless capacity for love and care.
